Did you know?

Aisha (رضي الله عنها) narrated that whenever the Prophet ﷺ went to bed, he would recite Surah Al-Ikhlas, Surah Al-Falaq, and Surah An-Nas, then lightly blow into his palms and wipe them over his face and whatever parts of his body he could reach. When he became ill, he would ask Aisha to do this for him. This beautiful Sunnah teaches us that the Prophet ﷺ would end his day by seeking Allah's protection. Before sleep, a person is at their most vulnerable, unable to protect themselves or know what may happen during the night. So the Prophet ﷺ would entrust himself to Allah through these blessed verses of the Qur'an. What Scholars Said The scholars explained that Surah Al-Ikhlas contains the affirmation of Allah's Oneness, while Surah Al-Falaq and Surah An-Nas seek refuge from all forms of evil, whether external harms such as envy and sorcery, or internal harms such as the whispers of Shaytan. Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله described these three surahs as among the greatest means of...

"AVOID MARRYING INDIAN MUSLIM GIRLS"

Note: In the kind of situation we are seeing, it is recommended to avoid marrying Indian Muslim (namesake) girls. (below details) The situation in India has reached epidemic proportions. There is a significant propaganda machinery led by anti-Muslim groups targeting and converting Muslim girls to Hinduism. Over the past decade, more than 800,000(A Scholar claimed to compiled all registered cases for the last 1 decade: Figures can be disputed) Muslim girls have married non-Muslim men and left Islam. It is evident that Muslim girls who wear hijab or niqab are being caught with non-Muslim men in hotel rooms, parks, restaurants, and other places with increasing frequency. They seem to have no fear of Allah, despite knowing that marrying a disbeliever or engaging in forbidden relationships is forbidden (haram) in Islam. They are doing so of their own free will. In the Quran, Allah states, "And do not marry polytheistic men [to your women] until they believe. And a believing slave is be...

AFTER THIS, YOU’LL NEVER WATCH HARAM CONTENT AGAIN

Read this before it’s too late  Watching haram content doesn’t just affect your eyes… it slowly destroys your heart, your focus, your iman, and your connection with Allah. The Prophet (ﷺ) said: “Allah has written the very portion of Zina which a man will indulge in. There will be no escape from it. The Zina of the eye is the (lustful) look, the Zina of the ears is the listening (to voluptuous songs or talk), the Zina of the tongue is (the licentious) speech, the Zina of the hand is the (lustful) grip, the Zina of the feet is the walking (to the place where he intends to commit Zina), the heart yearns and desires and the private parts approve all that or disapprove it.” **([Al-Bukhari and Muslim]. This is the wording in Muslim; Al-Bukhari wording is a bit short.)** [Riyad as-Salihin 1622] Zina isn’t just physical. It starts with a glance… then becomes a habit… then takes over your life. Most Muslims are struggling silently… Haram content. Missed salah. Overthinking. No consistency. ...

Why Does Allah Say “We” in the Qur’an?

First of all, let’s begin with history. Even the Torah uses “We” for God. And I’m not talking about Christians. I’m talking about Jews. Do Jews believe God has a son? No. Yet their scripture still uses “We.” So this is not something unique or strange. Now, to understand this logically, you first have to understand pronouns. There are three types: third person, second person, and first person. Third person is “he, she, they.” Second person is “you.” First person is “I and we.” In Arabic, it’s even more detailed - there are multiple forms of “you” - but focus on this: Allah uses “He” (third person), Allah allows Himself to be addressed as “You” (second person), and Allah uses “I” and “We” (first person). Now here’s the key question: if “We” was actually plural in number, then you should find plural in all three categories. You should find “they” used for Allah. You should find “all of you” used for Allah. But do you? No. You only find plural in the first person. That means it is not lite...

The letter an Ottoman soldier sent to his daughter.

Image
The letter an Ottoman soldier sent to his daughter from the Front during Ramadan. “My beautiful daughter, Today is July 14, the second day of Ramadān. Shaykh al-Islām issued a fatwa saying that you may not fast. But I did not feel comfortable. I intend to fast. At suhūr, I found two root çiriş (a grass smaller than a leek) among the bushes. I had suhür with them. We dug new trenches during the day. I was never silent. The offensive has increased. We couldn’t get our heads out. In the evening, a soldier recited the call to prayer. Inside the trench, the canteen circulated from hand to hand. Everyone broke their fast with water. I thought I was the only one fasting. It turns out that all of the troop were fasting. The flask came to me last. It came, but I was ashamed of myself. My friends all fasted without suhür. I, on the other hand, felt embarrassed towards my friends because I ate two çiriş. That day, I shed tears asking how can I repay the people of Erzurum, Darende and Yenice who ...

and all of Makkah breaks its fast.

Imagine waiting in silence… No loudspeakers. No phone alerts. Then BOOM — and all of Makkah breaks its fast. For nearly 150 years, a cannon was fired from Jabal al-Madfa‘ah (Mountain of the Cannon) in the Jarwal area, north of Masjidil Haram. That single powerful blast announced: • The beginning of Ramadan • The moment of iftar • The end of suhoor Families would pause, listen carefully… and wait for the sound before touching their dates. The tradition continued until around 2014, when modern adhan systems and synchronized prayer-time signals replaced it. Today, the historic Ramadan cannon is preserved and displayed at the Abu Bakr Al Amoudi Museum in Makkah — silent now, but once it carried the sound that united an entire city. Makkah does not forget its history. It simply becomes quieter.
