AFTER THIS, YOU’LL NEVER WATCH HARAM CONTENT AGAIN
Read this before it’s too late
Watching haram content doesn’t just affect your eyes…
it slowly destroys your heart, your focus, your iman, and your connection with Allah.
The Prophet (ﷺ) said:
“Allah has written the very portion of Zina which a man will indulge in. There will be no escape from it. The Zina of the eye is the (lustful) look, the Zina of the ears is the listening (to voluptuous songs or talk), the Zina of the tongue is (the licentious) speech, the Zina of the hand is the (lustful) grip, the Zina of the feet is the walking (to the place where he intends to commit Zina), the heart yearns and desires and the private parts approve all that or disapprove it.”
**([Al-Bukhari and Muslim].
This is the wording in Muslim; Al-Bukhari wording is a bit short.)**
[Riyad as-Salihin 1622]
Zina isn’t just physical.
It starts with a glance… then becomes a habit… then takes over your life.
Most Muslims are struggling silently…
Haram content. Missed salah. Overthinking.
No consistency. No peace.
But you don’t have to stay stuck.
THE WAY OUT :
1 Break the trigger instantly:
The moment the urge comes - don’t sit there.
Stand up. Leave your place. Change your environment.
Move your body before your mind traps you.
2 Make sin difficult:
Install filters. Block apps.
Put passwords you don’t control.
If access is easy… falling is easy.
3 Fast regularly (Your shield):
The Prophet (ﷺ) said:
“Fasting is a shield...”
[Sahih Muslim 1151d]
Fast Mondays & Thursdays.
It weakens desires and strengthens control.
4 Protect your Salah & Qur’an:
You can’t fight sin with a weak connection to Allah.
Salah builds discipline.
Qur’an softens the heart.
5 Lower your gaze early:
Don’t wait until it gets intense.
The first look is where the battle is won or lost.
6 Replace, don’t just remove:
If you remove haram but don’t replace it…
you’ll go back.
Fill your time with:
Gym
Learning
Work
Islamic content
7 Make sincere tawbah daily:
No matter how many times you fall…
come back. Allah loves those who return.
Reminder: You’re not weak. You’re just fighting a battle most people hide. And Allah sees every struggle.
